Information processed by the app
CleanWarden scans installed applications, disk usage, memory usage, installers, caches, leftover files, related cleanup items, and user-selected files for diagnosis locally on your Mac. Local scan and file diagnosis results are used to show what may be safe to review, remove, or repair and are not uploaded by default.
Information we may collect
If you purchase a license, claim a public beta license, contact support, restore a license, or use the website, we may receive your email address, purchase details, license status, support messages, basic website analytics, and any diagnostics you choose to send.
Payments, beta, and license delivery
Purchases are processed by a third-party payment provider. Public beta claims use the submitted email only to issue a beta license and reply to feedback. Payment details, tax handling, receipts, fraud prevention, refunds, and license delivery may be handled by the payment provider under its own privacy policy and terms. To prevent duplicate delivery, our license service keeps a hashed purchase email, license ID, delivery provider, and delivery timestamp for up to 10 years. Beta seat reservations retain a hashed email for up to 120 days.
Support diagnostics
Only share diagnostics you choose to export. Do not send private files unless they are needed to resolve a support request. Support emails remain in the support inbox until resolved or deleted on request, subject to records we must retain by law.
Website analytics
We use first-party analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, page engagement, downloads, and checkout interest. The payload may include a random browser session ID, page path, referral source, language, screen size, and interaction events. Daily session identifiers expire after 90 days; the dashboard keeps at most 81 recent event summaries. We do not collect Mac scan results, file names, license keys, payment-card details, or file contents through website analytics.
Your choices
You can request deletion of support data by emailing support@cleanwarden.com from the address used for support or purchase. You can also choose not to export diagnostics or send them to support.
